ALLELIX NEUROSCIENCE, INC., Cranbury NJ: Allelix was a research and development firm that focused their efforts in the field of neuroscience research. ArchitecturePLUS, pc provided space planning, architectural and interior design, construction documentation and specifications, and construction administration for the tenant “fit-up” of 17,000. s.f. The project consisted in the consolidation of the present facility (approx. 25,000. s.f.) into a new operation and business venture for the Client. The facility was designed as a research facility, and incorporates state of the art chemistry laboratories, biology laboratories, and animal testing laboratories. In addition the project also serves as the company’s US administrative headquarters.
PALATIN TECHNOLOGIES, INC., Edison, NJ: Palatin is an emerging leader in pharmaceutical research and development with a focus on developing melanocortin-based therapeutics. ArchitecturePLUS, pc provided design, construction documentation, and construction administration for the company’s original office and laboratory space (approx. 10,500. s.f.). The renovation involved the total reconstruction of the existing tenant area, and included new offices, facilities, and laboratory space. In September of 2002, the company relocated to a larger facility (approx. 28,000 SF), and in a stand alone new building. ArchitecturePLUS, pc provided Palatin with the design and construction administration for the new executive offices, administrative area, laboratories, and the company’s first animal lab facility. In 2004, Palatin also expanded their office administrative area and occupied an adjacent building (approx. 10,000 s.f.). The office expansion included a new Board Room, Executive and Administrative area.
GALDERMA RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT, INC., Cranbury NJ: Galderma has a long-standing commitment to research and has focused their efforts on developing the best dermatological products to treat a variety of common skin conditions. ArchitecturePLUS, pc, provided space planning, design, and construction documentation for a 37,000. s.f. tenant fit up for a new office/research/ development facility. The facility is Galderma’s headquarters, and brings together for the first time, the administrative and marketing operation under the same roof as research and development. The project scope also included site selection and construction administration for the proposed facility. In addition, ArchitecturePLUS, pc, also worked with Galderma again to complete the second phase of the project (approx. 22,500 s.f.). The expansion area consists of a new conferencing center, larger lunch room facility, expanded development labs, additional administrative office area, and development lab archives.
